Viva La Vida!

Matt and I had an awesome time with our friends this weekend at the Gorge. We saw Coldplay Saturday night and it was a great concert. Camping at Sunbasin RV Park was pretty fun too!

Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My!

The kids took their first visit to Cat Tales and saw some amazing big cats last week. We met our friends Megan, Kyle and Claire and had a great time. I think the tigers were my favorite, especially the white tiger. Hard to believe we were in Spokane and looking at such incredible creatures!







We spent 4th of July at Diamond Lake - Thank you to the Carneys for letting us use their place! The kids played in the water, loved the sand and rocks at the beach and stayed up way past their bedtime for an incredible fireworks show.

Abigail's First Stitches and Splash Pad

Lesson learned...don't tell Abigail to run to the door to see the garbage man go by. Abigail had a little fall into the front screen door last week and had to get her first stitches above her eye. She was pretty brave at the emergency room, but it was not a fun time for her. She ended up with 4 stitches and unfortunately, it hasn't slowed her down one bit!




The new "splash pad" opened up at Pacific Park and I finally took the kids over. Andrew loved it and Abigail wasn't too sure about all of the spraying water. I have a feeling after a few more visits she'll be running through like the big kids!
