The Big Hill

With the help of grandpa snow blowing all of the snow into a big pile, we've made a sledding hill at the top of grandma and grandpa's court. It's quite the hill and has been lots of fun for the cousins and neighborhood kids!

Merry Christmas

Some of my favorite moments and quotes from Christmas 2008: 1. At church on Christmas Eve, the candles were lit and the lights were turned down. Andrew's eyes sparkled as he watched his candle and begun to sing Silent Night. 2. After getting home from church Andrew was lying on his new quilt made by grandma Heimbigner. With great thought he said, "This is just what I wanted for Christmas." 3. On Christmas morning, Santa brought Andrew a new race track. He yelled, "I'm so excited I can't even think!" Now that's excitement! 4. Abigail was queen of the pictures. Everywhere we went and with every camera pointed at her, she gave a big "CHEEEEESE." It was hilarious! I think she likes showing off some of her new teeth. Christmas Eve was spent with the Heimbigner family and Christmas Day was spent with the Liezens. We are so blessed to be able to spend our holidays with our entire family! We love you! Opening Christmas presents was especially exciting this year. It was so much fun! Grandma Heimbigner made all of the grand kids quilts. What a special gift. Abigail loves her new princess car and has not stopped playing with it since and Andrew loved everything he opened. More snow time...

"It's beginning to look alot like Christmas...."

Snow, snow and more snow! It's very beautiful, but the piles are getting quite big for shoveling. 8-10 more inches are expected tomorrow!

Hats, Hats, Hats!

This blog is all about Abby's love of HATS! Her favorite word is "hat" and she is always finding hats around the house and putting them on. In one picture, she has one hat on her head, another in her purse, and she's managing to carry a book as well. Abigail is really interested in books now! I also was able to capture a shot of the newest bonk on her face under her eye. She cried for a second and then was off and running again.

Andrew and Abigail were so excited with the foot of snow that fell today. I always feel like more time is spent getting all of the winter gear on rather than actual play time, but the kids love it! We've had cold temperatures and it looks like it will continue that way, so we'll be having a white Christmas in Spokane!

Make sure and turn the music off so that you can hear Abigail in the video!
