Our Adventurous Kids!

The snow has stopped finally (for now at least), but the winter activities continue. We decided it would be fun to take the kids sledding last weekend. Matt's idea of a good hill and mine were a little different. I had to remind him that our kids were 4 four and one and didn't need too steep or too long. We settled on a great hill behind Salk Middle School and it was perfect! Miss Abigail is proving to be the adventurous type and decided it was very fun going down the hill all by herself. It's okay if you think we're a little crazy for letting her. When I watch the video, I'm a little shocked myself. My favorite parts of the video are Matt's funny voice and when Matt asks Abigail, "Was that awesome?" and she replies "yes". Andrew and Hannah had a good time too, even catching a little air on some jumps!

Andrew and I had some special time together on Monday when we got to go ice-skating with his preschool at Eagles-Ice-Arena. It was so much fun and Andrew caught on fairly quick. He made sure not to get too far from his bar and had a few falls, but none that caused tears, so I think it was a successful first visit to the ice rink!

Oh my gosh! That video of Abigail going down the hill is hilarious! Her expression when she gets done is priceless. It'a almost like she can't even believe she did that! Cute pictures, too!

Jo- how precious are your little babies! I love reading your blogs! My blog sucks. Mom told me that Andrew has a slight stigmatism...I was sad to hear of his headaches and hope that he gets better soon! I can't wait to see you all again - hopefully this March! Love you!
