Angel Ball
Saturday night was the Angel Ball at the MAC and we had a fabulous evening. It was a beautiful, warm night spent with family and friends. It is a wonderful event that raises money for diabetes and has a special place in the heart of our family and specifically my nephew Nick!
My mom had her 3 sisters and twin brother there, along with all of their spouses...how fun!

June Celebrations and Sun
The sun finally arrived on Saturday and we were outside all day long. Water balloons, sprinklers, flowers...we've been waiting for nice weather. Andrew told Matt (after being outside for roughly 6 hours), "Dad, this is the BEST day ever!"
June has been very busy with fun celebrations. Andrew finished kindergarten and had a wonderful music program at school. We are so thankful for his teacher Mrs. Uyehara! She was an amazing teacher and Andrew loved school this year!
Claire graduated from Shadle Park H.S. We are so proud of all of her accomplishments. She will be attending Concordia in the fall. Way to go Claire!
Olivia and David celebrated their 10th Wedding Anniversary with a fun party in Spokane. Abigail danced the night away and we had a chance to spend some time with family over the weekend. Uncle Peter even made a surprise visit from California!

Memorial Day Weekend
Memorial Day weekend may have been kind of rainy and wet, but we still had a great time with the whole Heimbigner Family and our friends Pete, Karen, Luke and Abby. We were up on Pend O'reille River and the weekend was full of activity. Balloon rockets, 4-wheeler rides, campfires, smores, walks and a little friendly game of kickball...what a great time!
Andrew got a new bike. He had definitely outgrown his other one and the tires were looking pretty worn. He loves his new "Ripclaw" ride!
Here he is in front of some of his artwork at Woodridge. They had an Artfair this week to display student work. I can't believe he is almost done with his kindergarten year!
Other BIG NEWS...Abigail is potty trained! It was only a matter of her making the decision to do it. That girl has a mind of her own, but she's doing great!

Spokane Lilac Parade
Last weekend we joined our friends the Fehlers downtown for the Lilac Parade. It was a warm, beautiful night and the kids had such a great time. When the marching bands went by Abigail was swinging her hips and Andrew told me "his heart was dancing!" Andrew and Halle kept a running count of pooper-scoopers and Abigail and Cole ate their way through the entire parade. We're not sure if we'll make it a yearly tradition (11:00 is a little late for the Liezen kids to go to bed), but it was definitely a night of family fun!

Viva Las Vegas!
It's hard to believe it has already been a week since arriving home from Las Vegas. We spent 3 nights and had a great time with our friends Nikki and Shawn. Thank you grandma and grandpa Heimbigner for watching Andrew and Abigail! It's always refreshing to have a little get away.

For all of our P90X friends...
Our favorite night was probably our first night in Vegas when we went downtown to Fremont Street. I played on a live table for the first time in my life at Golden Gate Casino, and all 4 of us walked away as winners. We saw some interesting people and had a good time!
